Sales Auditing And Legal Education Support
IS YOUR DEALERSHIP PRACTICING SAFE SELLING?
The goal of the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association S.A.L.E.S. Program is to educate franchised motor vehicle dealers about federal and state compliance regulations, thereby helping them avoid potential legal pitfalls in their Sales and Finance departments.
The S.A.L.E.S. Program provides dealers with an easy-to-understand, detailed analysis of the potential legal and regulatory risks, if any, in their Sales and Finance departments. Further, the S.A.L.E.S. Program can help dealers establish a bona fide error defense to litigation filed against them.
Members can choose from a menu of optional auditing choices that include confidential, attorney-client privileged risk assessments, deal audits, walk around inspections, forms audits, policy and procedure development, and training. Click here for a S.A.L.E.S. Program menu.
The comprehensive program includes prominent legal and regulatory topics like:
· Sales and Finance Disclosures
· Truth in Lending Act
· Gramm Leach Bliley Act (Privacy and Safeguarding)
· Fair Credit Reporting Act (credit applications, credit reports,
identity theft, adverse action, and risk based pricing)
· FTC Used Car Rule
· BMV Sales Licensing
· Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act
· Spot Delivery
· Finance Menus
