Supplemental Insurance Program
February 16, 2012

Supplemental Insurance Program

The Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association has teamed up with the Gene Hudock Agency to provide member dealers with an exciting new insurance benefit program for themselves and their employees.

The benefit offerings are designed to supplement primary insurance and provide flexibility, allowing participants to make choices depending on their individual needs. Benefits are paid directly to the participants in addition to any other coverage and can be used to help offset the non-medical costs associated with treatment.

Advantages for the Dealer:

1.       Voluntary, with as few as two participants required for group eligibility
2.       Better underwriting through GCADA with greater chance of acceptance
3.       No additional costs to the dealer
4.       Compliments your current benefits/coverages
5.       Increase benefits, morale and helps combat costs associated with health insurance and employee turnover
6.       Individually (employee) owned policies
7.       Local customer service through fully staffed office
8.       Tax Savings

Advantages for employees:

1.       Voluntary and can pick and choose best benefits for themselves and family
2.       Can obtain group benefits at group rates and group underwriting
3.       Individually (employee) owned policies and are portable by the employee
4.       Some health products qualify for IRS Section 125 eligibility
5.       Benefits are paid directly to the insured
6.       Benefits can be offered to employee’s working spouses without employee participating

Supplemental Benefits include but are not limited to:

Accident Coverage, Short Term Disability, Personal Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Dental
