The Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association to Offer Initiatives to Improve Team Members’ Health and Well-Being through Partnership with Be Well Solutions
Cleveland, OH (June 21, 2013) – Last week the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association (GCADA) announced a strategic partnership with Be Well Solutions (BWS) to provide comprehensive wellness services to its member organizations. GCADA represents over 250 new motor vehicle dealerships in northern Ohio and BWS is a local leader in worksite health promotion services. Through this partnership GCADA has made a strategic commitment to promote activities that encourage healthy living and disease prevention among its members.
A formal kickoff is planned for Wednesday July 10 when individual dealerships will be introduced to the programs that can help control healthcare expenses and increase productivity. Local dealerships will have the opportunity to learn more about corporate wellness and how it works, and will begin to craft individual programs unique to their employee populations. “Be Well Solutions provides us with a customized service for our members’ wellness needs by improving employees’ health, increasing productivity and ultimately reducing our health insurance and workers’ compensation costs,” says Lou Vitantonio, GCADA’s President.
Through BWS, GCADA is offering members a range of wellness related services, including biometric screenings, health risk assessments, web-based and on site programming, proactive intervention strategies (health coaching, educational presentations, wellness campaigns, etc.) and incentive based programs.
BWS was chosen by GCADA after a lengthy and competitive selection process. “We are extremely excited about the opportunity to provide assistance to the GCADA members and their families. So far the responses from the dealerships have been extraordinary,” says Dr. Ronald Golovan, BWS’ Medical Director, who has been involved in worksite health promotion for nearly two decades. “Helping people make meaningful changes and focusing on prevention and early detection are the strategies we teach. These will become even more important as elements of health reform take effect.”
