Cleveland, OH (October 8, 2013) – Sales of new vehicles showed robust growth in September with franchised new car and truck dealerships across Northern Ohio ringing up a sales increase of 18.54 percent over the same month a year prior, according to figures released today by the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association (GCADA). “Overall, Northern Ohio vehicle sales continued to show improvement, posting double digit growth over 2012,” said Louis A. Vitantonio, president of the GCADA. ”In order to continue the momentum, economic and political stability will need to return for the last quarter of 2013.”

For the year-to-date, franchised dealerships in the same region have sold 177,439 vehicles this year versus 160,425 sold during the same time frame in 2012.
