Cleveland Auto Show Increases
Number of Ride-N-Drives Once Again

Cleveland, OH (January 30, 2014) – The 2014 Cleveland Auto Show, presented by AutoTrader.com and Medical Mutual, will host Ride-N-Drive events for 14 different brands when it opens its doors to the public on March 1 at the I-X Center. Hosting more brands than ever before, Ride-N-Drives afford Cleveland Auto Show attendees the chance to get behind the wheel and actually test drive a car.

“If you want to find out what a car can do and how it suits your transportation needs, you really have to get behind the wheel and see how it feels,” says Ed Babcock, chairman of the 2014 Cleveland Auto Show and fourth generation owner of the Junction Auto Family dealerships in Chardon. “Our show pioneered the Ride-N-Drive concept and we continue to lead the way, when it comes to providing our attendees the most complete auto show experience possible.”

“Many of the same manufacturers that offered Ride-N-Drives are back again this year,” says Dennis Rose, floor manager of the Cleveland Auto Show. “This year, we also have Volkswagen.”

Providing the best automotive one-stop shop in Ohio as well as several surrounding states, the Cleveland Auto Show offers more than 900 vehicles on display in over 1.2 million square-feet of exhibit space. Once you have narrowed down your vehicle selections on the show floor, visiting a Ride-N-Drive is an excellent way to compare multiple vehicles during the Show.

The Cleveland Auto Show is able to offer Ride-N-Drive events due to the large size of the I-X Center. Most cities simply don’t have a facility or grounds large enough to host these kinds of events. Ride-N-Drive events have already been scheduled for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Toyota, Scion, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Kia, Mazda, Subaru and Volkswagen. Dates and times for all brands’ Ride-N-Drives, as well as specific vehicles offered, are posted at the newly redesigned clevelandautoshow.com, and include several of each brand's most popular models. Updates will be posted as they become available.

“Due to the timing of this year’s Cleveland Auto Show, we expect the very best displays, concepts and production vehicles from our manufacturers and exhibitors,” says Rose. “I’m very proud that our show is able to offer so many Ride-N-Drive events for our show attendees.”

In addition, the Cleveland Auto Show will also offer a full schedule of family fun and entertainment as well as celebrity appearances throughout the Show’s nine-day run. The Show runs from Saturday, March 1, 2014 through Sunday, March 9, 2014.
