Cleveland Auto Show Issues
A Call for All Classics

Cleveland, OH (January 9, 2014) – The Cleveland Auto Show has issued a call for all classics, announcing that registration is open – with only 20 spots left – for its 2014 Classic Car Competition and Cash for Classics. The 16th annual competition will take place during the 2014 Cleveland Auto Show, which opens its doors on Saturday, March 1, 2014 and runs through Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the I-X Center in Cleveland.

As a part of the competition, one $1,000 cash prize will be awarded to the “Car of the Show” with five $200 prizes awarded to the Top Five vehicles.

To be eligible, vehicles must be 25 years or older, approved by the show management and may not be offered for sale. A picture must be provided even if you have been invited to the competition in the past. There is no fee to participate nor is there a fee for trailer parking for the duration of the Cleveland Auto Show. Judging will take place during the Cleveland Auto Show, with prizes awarded on Saturday, March 8, 2014.

“We are expecting this Classic Car Competition to be the best in its 16 year history,” says Karen Ford, manager of the Classic Car Competition. “Each year, we get more people interested in displaying their vehicles. And each year, the competition and displays get better.”

As one of the fan favorites of the Cleveland Auto Show, the Classic Car Competition is highly regarded among auto enthusiasts and aficionados alike. Space is limited, so it’s a good idea to register early. Registration will continue from now until all available space is occupied, or until Friday, February 14, whichever comes first.

The Classic Car Competition is just one of the many attractions at the 2014 Cleveland Auto Show. With more than 1,000 new vehicles in nearly 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space, it is considered among the top five Auto Shows in the nation. The Cleveland Auto Show also offers a full slate of entertainment for the entire family over its nine day run. Free parking is available for the duration of the show, courtesy of your franchised new vehicle dealers.
